Some useful ways to actually make use of ChatGPT, despite the hype

in the past few weeks, i’ve used it for a couple of projects:

  1. to help set up an 11ty website publishing platform, which for the life of me i couldn’t quickly figure out despite scanning guides and documentation. ChatGPT condensed it into commands specific to my situation that i could run and configure.
  2. solve a long-standing problem trying to parse emails with long process result messages into chunks that i could feed into a discord webhook. ChatGPT wrote most of the steps for my Pipedream workflow.
